Company Responsibilities:

Since joining French Engineering in April of 2009, Bill Zinn has worked on numerous traffic-related designs, including work zone traffic control, temporary and permanent traffic signals, and signing and pavement marking plans. He also assists with the development of H&H reports, traffic data collection, and the review of Transportation Impact Studies.

He is an experienced user of Microstation V8i, AutoCAD 2010, Inroads and HEC-RAS.

Recent projects for which Bill was the primary technician include:

  • District 12-0: Various Small Bridges, 2011 and 2012 - Prepared Traffic Control Plans, Detour Plans and Signing and Pavement Marking Plans for numerous small bridges and performed construction consultation reviews.
  • District 2-0: SR 0322-N25, Sandy Township - Performed Permanent and Temporary Traffic Signal Design for the intersection of SR 0119 at SR 0322.
  • District 9-0: SR 0764-013, City of Altoona - Prepared the Traffic Control Plan for Structure Replacement, 6th Avenue (SR 0764) over Mill Run.
  • District 8-0: SR 0443-010, East Hanover and Union Townships - Prepared Temporary Traffic Signal Design for Structure Replacement over Indiantown Run.
