Transportation Impact Studies

One of our specialties is performing Transportation Impact Studies (TIS) in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Maryland. Our experience includes:

• Completing more than 50 TISs in Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Maryland using the applicable guidelines and regulations unique to each state.
• Completing studies ranging from major commercial developments to mixed-use developments to individual businesses.
• TIS review services for PennDOT Districts 8-0 and 12-0 reviewing over 300 studies and several HOP-related traffic signal designs and signing and pavement marking plans.
• We are intimately familar with TIS guidelines in Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Maryland and have over 20 years of experience in preparing studies for many satisifed clients.

For our work with PennDOT District 8-0, project coordination was accomplished through weekly online meetings with District personnel.  In District 12-0, we were reviewing several large high-profile studies and closely coordinating with District engineers.
