FE provides a growing variety of services in the area of Water Resources Engineering, including the following software programs:

  • HEC-RAS with RAS Mapper
  • Watershed Modeling System (WMS)
  • HY-8 for culvert hydraulics
  • EFH 2 (Engineering Field Handbook Chapter 2) for hydrologic analysis
  • TR-55 for watershed hydrology
  • National Streamflow Statistics (NSS)
  • National Flood Frequency (NFF)
  • PSU-IV
  • Storm Water Management Model (SWMM)
  • MicroStation/OpenRoads

We have a particular interest in Sustainable Drainage and Watershed Management. This includes developing ideas to promote infiltration, reduce runoff quantity and pollution, and treat stormwater as a resource instead of a waste product.
