Transportation Impact Studies

One of our specialties is performing Transportation (or traffic) Impact Studies (TIS) in West Virginia and Pennsylvania. We have successfully completed more than 30 TIS in WV and PA using the applicable guidelines and regulations unique to each state. Our completed studies range from major commercial developments to mixed-use developments to individual businesses.

We are providing Transportation Impact Study (TIS) review services for PennDOT District 8-0 and District 12-0.  Since 2008, we have reviewed over 300 studies and several HOP-related traffic signal designs and signing and pavement marking plans.  We are intimately familiar with PennDOT TIS Guidelines, including the preparation of Alternative Transportation Plans.  For PennDOT District 8-0, project coordination is accomplished through weekly online meetings with District personnel.  In District 12-0, we are reviewing several large high-profile studies and closely coordinating with District engineers.
